EY in Australia seeks a Data Office Manager to shape data governance, ownership and lifecycle practices across Oceania. You will coordinate with Global Data Office and regional teams to advance AI-ready data, data quality and standards while supporting Dataguard readiness and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering data management, governance, risk or compliance initiatives in a large organisation.
• Practical understanding of data protection risks and controls, including AI data flows.
• Strong stakeholder and communication skills across business, technology, risk and leadership audiences.
• Sound judgement on when to escalate issues to the global program.
• Comfort working across time zones with global teams.
• Experience running regional delivery rhythms for a program.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain data ownership, stewardship, classification, quality, access and lifecycle practices.
• Coordinate Data Office initiatives including AI-ready data, Synthetic Data and common data standards.
• Align regional priorities with Global Data Office and Risk teams.
• Strengthen delivery by coordinating stakeholders and reporting.
• Support regional Dataguard readiness, communications and ownership.
• Identify data protection risks and support control-related initiatives.
