Job summary

Xpt Software is seeking a Data Engineering Lead to own the end-to-end data platform lifecycle, from governance to delivery. You will drive modernization across Azure Data Lake, Synapse, and Fabric, establishing standards and ensuring security, cost efficiency, and reliability.

The role requires leading diverse teams including Data Engineers, Analysts, and BI developers, partnering with executives to deliver actionable insights and roadmaps for data-driven outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Data Engineering, Analytics, Integration, or Enterprise Applications.
• 5+ years leading enterprise-scale data and integration platforms.
• Experience managing production support and application delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise data platform strategy, architecture, governance, and roadmap.
• Lead modernization of Azure Data Lake, Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric environments.
• Ensure scalable, secure, and cost-effective data engineering solutions.
• Define enterprise data standards, data quality frameworks, and metadata management practices.
• Support advanced analytics, reporting, AI, and business intelligence initiatives.
