Job summary

DMSi is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and evolve a multi-tenant analytics data platform. You will own pipelines, schemas, and provisioning workflows that move data from source systems into analytical environments, partnering with database administration and infrastructure teams to ensure data accuracy and performance.

You will design data models for scalable analytics, develop customer onboarding workflows, and apply infrastructure-as-code practices to provision and operate

Qualifications

• bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS or related field.
• 3+ years building and operating data pipelines, data platforms, or database-backed systems in production.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data pipelines from source systems to analytics platform.
• Design and maintain PostgreSQL schemas for multi-tenant analytics.
• Build and maintain the dashboard data layer for customer analytics.
• Develop per-customer data provisioning workflows for onboarding.
• Apply IaC to provision and manage data platform environments.
• Monitor data pipelines for health, performance, and quality; troubleshoot latency.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to translate analytics needs into platform capabilities.
• Document data platform architecture, data flows, and procedures.
• Evaluate tools and approaches to improve reliability, scalability, and performance.
