Kogan.com is seeking a Data Engineer to design and run the data and ML pipelines powering decisions across Marketing, Purchasing, Logistics and Finance.

You will build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, model data in BigQuery or Snowflake for analytics and ML training, and support ML workflows from feature inputs to model deployment. Join a fast-moving team that values ownership and practical AI.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL foundations for commercial-scale products.
• Experience using Airflow, dbt or AWS Glue to manage data workflows.
• Proficiency in Python for data transformation and scripting.
• Experience building ML data infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• Hands-on cloud data platform experience, preferably GCP.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD and containerization (Docker).
• A practical, problem-solving approach balancing speed with long-term stability.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines handling 10M+ daily events.
• Develop data models in BigQuery or Snowflake for analytics and ML.
• Support ML workflows with data inputs and feature engineering.
• Develop and refine ML models for customer sentiment, churn prediction, and demand forecasting.
• Establish MLOps pipelines for production deployment and monitoring of models.
• Ingest data via internal APIs and third-party tools with strong data integrity.
• Ensure data quality, security, and documentation as a source of truth.
• Follow software engineering best practices (Git, CI/CD, trunk-based development, tests).
• Collaborate on AI experiments to apply LLMs to business problems.
