Job summary

CompuTracts Pty Ltd (Business Name: Connect One Recruitment) is seeking a Data Specialist for a NSW Government contract to lead the migration of HR data to a new HCM system. You will work with the Data Lead and System Integrator to safeguard data integrity, security, and compliance throughout the migration.

The role emphasizes mapping, validation, and testing of source-to-target data, ensuring alignment with Ceridian Dayforce models and data-quality standards while engaging SMEs and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in data migration projects, preferably in HR systems like Ceridian Dayforce.
• Expertise in data migration methodologies, SQL, ETL, and data mapping.
• Strong data quality management, cleansing, and reconciliation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with stakeholder management.
• NSW Government experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential risks and challenges across the data migration lifecycle.
• Facilitate detailed analysis and validation of source and target systems.
• Conduct mapping workshops ensuring source-to-target mappings align with the Ceridian model.
• Assist with technical setup and preparation of environments for migration.
• Validate the accuracy and integrity of migrated data through testing and reconciliation.
• Develop and execute test plans for integration, performance, and mock conversions.
• Oversee Dress Rehearsal activities and ensure thorough validation.
• Assist in establishing data quality standards based on data profiling and SME insights.
