Job summary

Monash University is seeking a Data Migration Analyst to support the SMST program. The role focuses on end-to-end data migration, data integrity and post-migration validation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data loads and validation dashboards.

The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, experience with ETL, SQL, Python and visualization tools such as Databricks and Power BI, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience with data migration in large, complex environments.
• Proficiency with data mapping, profiling, cleansing and QA.
• Experience building ETL processes and dashboards in Databricks/Power BI.
• Strong SQL skills and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end data migration from existing systems to the new SMS.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity and security during migration and validation.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, testers and stakeholders.
• Develop data extraction processes and data conversion workflows.
• Create reporting and dashboarding for data validation and reconciliation.
