Job summary

Fusion5 is seeking a Solution Architect to join our Data & Integration team and design connections that let customers' systems, data, and processes work as one. Youll architect scalable, secure integration solutions and translate business needs into practical blueprints for delivery teams.

Youll lead on API management, middleware, and orchestration, ensuring services are monitored and secure across cloud-native and hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Around 8 years in enterprise IT with 3–5 years focused on integration architecture.
• Hands-on experience delivering complex integration projects using middleware, iPaaS, APIs, and messaging platforms across cloud-native and hybrid environments.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD, and containerised environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications (Azure) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design integration solutions that balance scalability, maintainability, and performance, and translate requirements into architectural blueprints and technical specs.
• Select and optimise integration platforms, drive API management, middleware, and orchestration tool adoption to keep systems connected and secure.
• Collaborate with delivery and operations teams to monitor, support, and run integration services from release to production.
• Build security and compliance into every integration by design, using modern authentication standards and risk identification.
• Partner with analysts, architects, and product owners to align integration with business outcomes and run cross-team workshops.
