Tech & Data People in Melbourne is seeking a commercially minded Data Analyst to join a growing Data & Insights team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will translate data into actionable insights to support strategic decisions, improve performance, and enhance customer outcomes.
The role involves developing interactive dashboards in Power BI, writing SQL queries, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver reporting and governance initiatives on Microsoft Azure and Fabric.
Formación
- Advanced SQL skills with large datasets.
- Experience creating dashboards/reports in Power BI.
- Proficiency in Python or similar for analytics/automation.
- Knowledge of data modelling and reporting best practices.
- Experience with data warehousing, ETL, and modern analytics platforms.
Responsabilidades
- Analyse large datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Write and optimise SQL queries across multiple data sources.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
- Support data quality initiatives and data governance.
