Job summary

Correlate Resources is seeking a Data Governance Lead / Senior Consultant to drive adoption and embedding of Data Governance across a large, matrix organisation in Sydney. This role sits between strategy and delivery and requires strong facilitation with diverse stakeholders.

You will translate governance concepts into practical, business-friendly actions, run workshops, and help shape education programs to embed governance capabilities across the enterprise.

• Review, refine and improve existing Data Governance processes and capabilities.
• Support the rollout and adoption of new and existing governance initiatives.

Data Governance Consultant - Adoption & Transformation: Contract Opportunity

We are partnering with a large and complex organisation to find an experienced Data Governance Lead / Senior Consultant to help drive and embed data governance practices across the business. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong Data Governance professional who combines governance expertise with excellent stakeholder management, consulting and facilitation skills. The Opportunity Working within a large, matrix organisation, you will play a key role in driving the adoption and ongoing evolution of Data Governance capabilities. This role sits between strategy and delivery. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to help ensure existing Data Governance frameworks, processes and capabilities are understood, adopted and embedded effectively. This is not a purely technical role. We are looking for someone who can bring people on the journey, facilitate meaningful conversations and help make Data Governance practical and relevant to the business.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Strong experience in Data Governance and/or Data Management.
• Experience driving the implementation, adoption or embedding of Data Governance capabilities.
• Experience working within large, complex and matrix organisations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strong consulting and facilitation experience.
• The ability to communicate Data Governance concepts in a practical and engaging way.
• Experience reviewing, refining and improving governance frameworks, processes or capabilities.
• A proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to independently drive initiatives forward.
