Job summary

XPT Software is seeking a Data Governance Consultant to design, implement, and operationalize enterprise-wide governance frameworks using Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog. You will collaborate with data owners, stewards, architects, and technology teams to establish trusted, compliant data practices and improve data transparency.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing enterprise Data Governance frameworks.
• Proficiency with Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog.
• Strong knowledge of metadata management, data lineage and business glossary.
• Ability to engage stakeholders and manage governance programs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise Data Governance frameworks, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead implementation and configuration of Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog.
• Establish governance operating models, decision rights, governance forums, and escalation paths.
• Develop governance roadmaps aligned with organizational data strategy and compliance requirements.
• Configure business glossaries, metadata repositories, classifications, and governance workflows.
• Enable integration with enterprise data platforms including Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, and SQL-based systems.
• Drive Data Stewardship adoption across business units.
• Present governance metrics and progress updates to leadership teams.
