The Opportunity:

The Data Entry/Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate and organised records within the organisation. You'll be working in our Brisbane team, collaborating with stakeholders across every aspect of our business to support the delivery of Watts Energy projects and Active Energy programs. This includes driving continuous improvement, new business growth, and customer retention initiatives. A key aspect of your role will involve adapting current processes to increase workload efficiency and customer turnaround time.

What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):

  • Accurately input meter readings, complete monthly account splits, and manage tenant changes efficiently.
  • Conduct city meter runs when required, ensuring precise data compilation.
  • Handle client communications, answering inquiries, and maintaining positive customer/supplier relationships.
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements for increased efficiency and customer turnaround.
  • Ensure organized record-keeping, strictly adhering to privacy and data entry policies.
  • Work collaboratively within the team, supporting internal projects and new system adoption.
  • Demonstrate a solution-oriented approach and overall business-ownership mindset.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Experience):

  • Proven experience in data entry and administrative roles, showcasing accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in handling multiple tasks concurrently without compromising accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal & written) to professionally deal with internal and external parties.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a productive team member.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Capacity to prioritise and manage workload autonomously.
  • Motivated to learn, quick to understand new processes, and adjust quickly to change.
  • Willingness to learn.

  • Familiarity with meter reading processes, monthly account splits, and tenant change procedures.
