Job summary

PYBAR Mining Services Pty is seeking a Data Engineer to join the ICT team in Orange, NSW. You will own the data warehouse, data pipelines and reporting, delivering consistent, accurate dashboards and insights for operations and finance.

You will design and optimise SQL Server data models, migrate legacy reporting to Power BI, and collaborate with site teams to turn reporting requirements into actionable dashboards while upholding data quality and governance.

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL Server skills including database administration, performance tuning and data modelling.
• Experience building data pipelines and data warehouses using Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL.
• Strong experience developing reporting and analytics in Power BI and SSRS.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain PYBAR's data warehouse and Power BI environment for reliable reporting and analytics.
• Engineer and maintain the data pipelines loading data from core systems into the data warehouse.
• Modernise reporting by migrating legacy platforms to Power BI and maintaining data models that support decision-making.
• Own SQL Server databases and ensure availability, security and data integrity for the business.
