The Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer who applies strong coding expertise and industry best practices to drive outcomes for initiatives defined within the data engineering space.

Outcomes to Deliver

In this role, success looks like:

  • Technical Delivery: Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, observability, and governance standards while building scalable data pipelines and batch/streaming solutions.
  • Business Alignment: Act as a technical partner to business stakeholders, translating business needs into robust, data-driven solutions.
  • Operational Excellence: Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineers and Data Scientists to maintain pipeline stability, uptime, and high-quality data integration.
Capabilities to Bring
  • Technical Capabilities: 3+ years of experience in data profiling, ETL development, SQL optimization, and large-scale data processing using AWS (Kinesis, Redshift, Lambda, S3) and modern platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, SSRS, GCP). (Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, RET, and AI/ML implementations is highly desirable.)

  • Collaboration & Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, navigate ambiguous requirements, and maintain high professional standards
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools and practices (Ansible, CloudFormation, Jenkins) and cloud platforms including GCP expertise.
  • Work with global teams across varied time zones and maintain high standards of workplace safety, diversity, and professional communication.

We’re Australasia’s home of live entertainment – from stadium tours to your local comedy show – and we look after the people who make it happen.

  • Front row perks: Front row and backstage access to live moments – free and discounted tickets to shows, sport and festivals across our network, plus presales and staff allocations for major on-sales
  • A global stage: Headquartered in Sydney with offices across seven countries and four continents, working alongside some of the biggest names in Australian and international live entertainment
  • Flexibility: Hybrid and flexible working, with flexible hours where your role allows
  • Parental leave for everyone: Paid leave for primary caregivers regardless of gender, with real support returning to work
  • Leave, your way: Annual leave plus extras like birthday leave and purchase leave
  • Your backstage crew: Confidential support via our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), including career coaching for you and your family, plus free flu vaccinations
  • Giving back: One paid volunteer day a year to support our community

  • Recognition that means something: ALL STAR Awards and service milestones, celebrating the people and teams who bring our values to life every day
