Job summary

The University of Adelaide is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Business Intelligence team at the City West campus. This is a full-time 24 month fixed term contract with a salary range of $103,719 to $116,002 per annum (plus 17% superannuation).

The role focuses on enabling data-driven decision-making by designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines, models, and solutions that support the University’s strategic and operational objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in data manipulation, preparation, and integration.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting data pipelines, models, and processes.
• Proficiency in data management and business intelligence concepts and practices.
• Experience with Power Query, Alteryx, SQL, and R.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

The team

This role forms part of Business Intelligence team within the Performance, Data and Insights Function and is aligned to the Corporate Portfolio within the University. The Data Engineer will work most closely with the Chief Data and Analytics Officer, Director, Business Intelligence, and the IT and Finance teams.

Experience
