Job summary

Reboot Monkey seeks a Data Center Technician to join our Bruce, Australia team. This on-site role requires 3+ years in data center operations, with strong cabling and infrastructure skills. You will install and maintain servers, monitor power and cooling, and ensure up-to-date asset documentation.

The candidate should have certification experience (CDCP/CDCS/CDCE or Cisco/JNCIA) and hands-on knowledge of DCIM and ITIL practices. On-site within standard hours with on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Three+ years data center operations experience.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in demanding environments.
• Knowledge of power distribution and UPS systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
