Amazon Corporate Services Pty Ltd is seeking a Data Center Security Specialist to join the Non-Traditional Environments Control Center. You’ll oversee access control, monitor security systems, and coordinate vendor activities in a high-security data center environment.

The role emphasizes data-driven improvements, collaboration with security managers, and ensuring compliance with global security standards while operating on a 7am–7pm shift in a control room setting.

Qualifications

• Experience collecting, analyzing, and utilizing data to drive process and system improvements.
• 1+ years of customer facing IT role or physical security systems/infrastructure work experience, or tertiary degree in CS/engineering/math or equivalent.
• Experience using CCTV, access control and intrusion systems.
• 1+ years of security operations oversight experience.

Responsibilities

• Interface with and assist in mobilizing vendors involved in system repairs.
• Provide access control management support to internal and external customers.
• Observe and report physical security system anomalies.
• Observe and report security incidents and policy breaches.
• Coordinate the activities of a professional contract guard force.
• Oversee individual security vendor deliverables and track service delivery.
• Draft reports and prepare presentations on the status of physical security operations.
• Collaborate with security managers to write and implement security processes and procedures.
