Job summary

Securitas Australia is seeking an Administration Officer to support the Site Security Manager at the Macquarie Park, NSW Data Center. You will manage security operations, assist with client service, system monitoring, audits, and training while ensuring compliance with procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid NSW Security License.
• Hold an AGSVA NV-1 Clearance.
• Experience in Control Room Operations and Security Systems.
• Experience with Access Control and CCTV.
• Impeccable report writing ability.
• Capable of learning a variety of security devices and controls.
• Demonstrated Leadership in supervisory or security management.
• Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance.
• Maintain professional composure under pressure.
• Advanced computer skills are mandatory.
• Strong oral and written communications.
• Strong customer service and service delivery orientation.
• Ability to interact effectively across cultures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact to data centre management and security personnel when the Security Team Manager is unavailable.
• Train and certify new security personnel and maintain training documentation.
• Ensure adherence to policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Act as Responder or Control Room Supervisor during peak periods or staff absence.
• Maintain and troubleshoot on-site security technology.
• May support other critical infrastructure sites.
• Recommend corrective actions to the Security Team Manager.
• Assist with scheduling, site equipment inspections, and audits.
• Conduct recurring audits and report to client management.
• Maintain security documentation per established policies and procedures.
