Job summary

Fuse Energy is seeking a lead for data centre projects across Australia, from concept through Ready-to-Build and energisation. You will own technical and development workstreams turning sites into deliverable projects.

The role requires strong expertise in data centre infrastructure, power and cooling, and a solid grasp of Australian planning and grid connection processes. You will work with stakeholders to manage risks and ensure scalable construction readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience developing data centres or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical understanding of data centre infrastructure and power/cooling systems.
• Solid knowledge of Australian planning and grid connection processes.
• Ability to take projects from early development through design and delivery readiness.

This role leads data centre projects across Australia from concept through to Ready-to-Build and energisation, owning the technical and development workstreams that turn a site into a deliverable project.

• Identify and mitigate technical and development risks
• Ensure projects are deliverable, scalable and aligned with construction requirements

• Experience developing data centres or large-scale infrastructure projects
• Strong technical understanding of data centre infrastructure, including power, cooling and utility systems, with the ability to evaluate engineering decisions and challenge technical assumptions
• Strong understanding of Australian planning and grid connection processes
• Experience taking projects from early-stage development through design, permitting and delivery readiness
• Highly analytical, self-directed and comfortable with significant ownership
