Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Data Center Deployment Specialist to join its Professional Services team to design and implement large-scale datacenter projects. You will interact with customers, partners, and internal teams to analyze, define and deploy data center infrastructure, collaborating to ensure flawless deployment and ongoing standard updates.

The role requires 5+ years in related fields, a strong background in servers, networking, storage, and virtualization, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Proven experience designing and implementing data center infrastructures.
• Experience with data center environments, servers, and network equipment.
• Experience installing, monitoring and maintaining data center equipment.
• Strong knowledge of networking, storage and virtualization technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast, dynamic team and travel as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Documentation of processes and standards updates.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement flawless data center infrastructure solutions to meet the needs of our customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of data center infrastructure.
• Datacenter Planning: Floor Plan, Rack Elevation, Simulation
• Cable deployment planning including number and type of connections, port assignments, and timing of activity following standard methodologies.
• Deploy and support NVIDIA products.
• Validate and update all related work instructions for Datacenter activities.
• Provide input for Data Center Standards updates; balance multiple activities and priorities; participate in project calls.
• Document processes and keep event logs.
• Escort and oversee on-site work delivered by partners and third-party vendors.
