Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Project Director – Customer Delivery to lead end-to-end execution of data center contracts, driving projects safely, on time, within budget, and to Vertiv quality standards.

You will coordinate engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and field services, own project P&L, manage risk, and serve as the executive customer interface for hyperscale and enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• 12–15+ years of experience delivering data center and critical infrastructure EPC projects.
• Proven track record managing large-scale, complex projects ($10M–$100M+).
• Strong commercial and contractual management experience.
• Experience working with hyperscale or colocation customers preferred.
• Deep understanding of mission-critical infrastructure systems.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Leadership across matrix organizations and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Own full lifecycle delivery from order booking to customer handover.
• Ensure alignment with contractual scope, commercial terms, and technical requirements.
• Act as the single point of accountability for project performance.
• Serve as the primary executive interface with the customer.
• Lead governance forums and drive cost control, forecasting accuracy, and risk mitigation.
• Oversee site execution, installation, commissioning, and final acceptance.
