Job summary

Interactive is launching a Data & AI practice and is seeking a Data Architect / Engineer to join as one of the first customer-facing data architects. You will design modern, AI-ready data platforms and work with customers to translate data challenges into tangible business outcomes.

Role involves shaping the data capability, leading workshops with senior stakeholders, and delivering high-quality architectures across Azure, Fabric and Databricks in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Experience with data platforms, pipelines, integration and warehousing.
• Strong understanding of data modelling for analytics and AI.
• Hands-on experience with Azure data technologies such as Synapse, Data Factory, SQL, Fabric concepts.

The Role

We’re looking for a Data Architect / Engineer to join our newly launched Data & AI practice. This is a unique opportunity to be one of our first customer‑facing Data Architects, working directly with customers to solve real data challenges while helping define how our data capability evolves.

You’ll play a critical role in designing modern, AI‑ready data platforms and ensuring our customers can turn data into tangible business outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partner with customers to understand their data landscape and connect solutions to real business outcomes.
• Design and deliver modern data platforms and lakehouse architectures across Azure, Fabric and Databricks.
• Embed governance, security and data access models into solutions from day one.
• Lead workshops and advisory engagements with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Act as design authority across delivery, ensuring quality, consistency and best practice.
• Contribute to reusable architectures, patterns and accelerators as the practice scales.

About You

• Experience working with data platforms, pipelines, integration and warehousing.
• Strong understanding of data modelling and structuring data for analytics and AI.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure data technologies (e.g. Synapse, Data Factory, SQL, Fabric concepts).
• Ability to translate technical solutions into clear business value.
• Comfortable working in customer‑facing environments and influencing stakeholders.
• Curious, proactive and keen to continuously learn and grow.
• Able to communicate complex ideas in a simple, practical way.
