Job summary

The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) is seeking a Data Analyst to manage and report on spatial and non-spatial data, delivering spatial data products to support the Biodiversity Offsets Scheme and improve conservation outcomes in NSW.

Based at 4 Parramatta Square with hybrid work options, the role focuses on developing reporting systems, ensuring data accuracy and presenting information clearly for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Manage and report on spatial and non-spatial data for internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver spatial data products and reporting for the Biodiversity Offsets Scheme.
• Ensure data accuracy, accessibility and fit for purpose.
• Present complex information in a clear and useful form.
• Plan tasks, timelines and dependencies to deliver outcomes on time.
• Collaborate to implement data governance processes across projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and report on spatial and non-spatial data for internal and external stakeholders.
• Design and implement reporting systems to support the BOS and conservation outcomes.
• Ensure data accuracy, accessibility and fit for purpose.
• Present complex information in a clear and useful form.
• Apply a project management approach to plan and deliver tasks on time.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement data governance across projects.
