Iress is seeking a hands-on Data & AI enablement specialist to partner with business teams across the organisation. You’ll translate ideas into practical use cases, identify data needs, and connect teams with the right experts and tools (Databricks, AWS, Jira).
You’ll build prototypes, test value, and drive adoption with governance and coaching. You will work in a hybrid setup, helping data-driven processes scale while balancing risk, architecture and delivery considerations.
See yourself being part of a large, transformational change? This could be the role for you!
At Iress, we make things happen
We believe technology should help people perform better every day.
Since our beginning in 1993, people across financial services have trusted us to take their performance to the next level. More than 10,000 businesses and 500,000 people use our software, from the world’s most iconic financial services brands to advice firms of all sizes, banks, insurers, investment managers, traders and brokers. Iress is one of Australia’s largest technology companies and employs more than 1,500 people across Australia, the United Kingdom, Africa, Canada, France, New Zealand and Asia.
Make data and AI useful in the work that matters
You’re proactive, curious and comfortable getting things moving. You know the best solutions start with understanding how people work, not with picking a tool. In this role, you’ll partner with teams across Iress to find practical ways data, AI and automation can make work easier, improve processes and help people do their best work.
You’ll turn early ideas into clear next steps, help teams test useful solutions with approved tools and connect them with the right technical specialists. You’ll see how ideas move from discovery towards adoption, build your consulting and technical skills, and leave teams more confident and capable than when you arrived.
This is a hands-on enablement role: you’ll help teams make progress, not become the permanent owner of their projects. Business teams remain accountable for their outcomes, delivery teams own what they deploy, and you’ll bring in platform, architecture and risk specialists when their expertise is needed.
Experience with a lakehouse or cloud data platform, data pipelines, APIs, retrieval or generative AI applications; business process mapping or product delivery; responsible AI, privacy, security or service operations; or financial services and other controlled environments.
Iress is committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive culture. We strongly believe that diversity is what makes our teams and our products succeed. Our people have different experiences, skills, perspectives and beliefs, and everyone’s uniqueness is valued and celebrated.
Our hiring decisions are never based on sexual orientation, race, gender identity, religion, disability, citizenship, marital or family status, or age. Even if you feel you don’t meet all of the requirements of the role, we would still like to hear from you!
We’re also proud to be globally recognised as a WORK180 Endorsed Employer that promotes and supports all women in the workplace.
