Job summary

Vopak Terminals Darwin is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the safe, reliable day-to-day operations of our Darwin Terminal. You will supervise a team of Operators and ensure all product transfers meet the highest global safety and efficiency standards.

In a Major Hazard Facility (MHF) environment, you will drive safety, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement, partnering with technical owners on JSAs, SWMS, and system integrity, while advancing culture and capability across

Qualifications

• Leadership in managing terminal operations and teams.
• Experience in Major Hazard Facility (MHF) environments preferred.
• Strong focus on safety, risk mitigation, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, reliable day-to-day operations of the Darwin Terminal.
• Supervise a team of Operators and ensure safe product transfers.
• Develop and approve Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
• Champion the Vopak Integrated Management System and ensure data accuracy.
• Plan and execute audits; update SHEQ procedures and terminal workflows.
• Coordinate WHSE committee activities and emergency response simulations.
