Job summary

Sigma Aerospace Group is seeking a skilled B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to support an established aeromedical operation in Darwin, NT. The role focuses on Pilatus PC-12 and PT6 maintenance, with opportunities for an embedded, long-term placement and possible FIFO arrangements.

You will work under the Senior Base Engineer, perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, maintain records, and participate in after-hours rosters while ensuring high presentation standards across the fleet.

Qualifications

• Extensive aircraft maintenance experience with strong and recent PT6 experience.
• Pilatus PC-12 experience is preferred.
• PT6 experience on other aircraft may be considered where licence coverage aligns.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance within the scope of your licence.
• Maintain and service aircraft and associated off-wing components.
• Support aircraft availability through participation in an after-hours on-call roster.
• Maintain compliant maintenance records, including WinAir records.
• Work in accordance with the Maintenance Organisation Manual and Control Manual requirements.
• Support aircraft maintenance planning and scheduling requirements.
• Maintain aircraft support equipment.
• Ensure aircraft are maintained to a high standard of presentation.
• Perform temporary or relief maintenance at other locations when required.
• Contribute to the organisation's Safety Management System and quality improvement processes.
• Support the wider engineering and operational team as required.
