We are seeking an experienced B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to support an established aeromedical aircraft maintenance operation in Darwin.
Reporting to the Senior Base Engineer, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance and servicing of the aircraft fleet and associated off-wing components within the scope of your licence.
Pilatus PC-12 experience is preferred, with strong Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6 experience a key requirement. Candidates with relevant and recent PT6 experience on other aircraft may also be considered where their licence ratings and maintenance background align with the role.
This is an ongoing opportunity suited to an engineer who is looking to become a reliable part of the operation and can demonstrate a genuine commitment to the placement term.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability, with the capacity to determine priorities, meet operational deadlines and work effectively with minimal supervision.
Well-developed communication and organisational skills are required, along with basic computer capability and the ability to maintain accurate electronic maintenance records.
Reliable, proactive and safety-focused, with strong initiative and a willingness to become an embedded member of the maintenance team.
The client is seeking engineers who can commit to the placement and become a dependable part of the operation rather than move in and out on short-term assignments.
