Job summary

Sante Recruitment is seeking a specialist to apply clinical expertise in anaesthesia and perioperative medicine at the Hospitals. As a principal referral centre, RDPH offers modern surgical services and requires high-quality anaesthesia and pain management.

Candidates should possess FANZCA or equivalent qualifications, and demonstrate a commitment to clinical care and education while engaging in cross-cultural health improvement for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Qualifications

• Fellowship of the Australian & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists or overseas equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-cultural environment.
• Commitment to excellence in clinical care, education, and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality anaesthesia, acute pain, and perioperative services.
• Provide emergency after-hours anaesthetic and consultancy services.
• Contribute to education, supervision, and mentoring of junior staff.
• Lead quality improvement and safety initiatives.
• Engage in cross-cultural care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
