Job summary

The Department of Education, Western Australia invites applications for Dance and Drama teachers to fill permanent and fixed-term, full-time and part-time vacancies for the 2027 school year, with appointments possible throughout the period.

We seek passionate educators who can deliver an engaging curriculum, promote creativity and inclusion, and collaborate with the Arts team and school community to support student learning and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment.
• Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
• Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
