Qualifications

• Provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the curriculum and ability to integrate literacy and numeracy across learning programs.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies guided by how students learn and evaluating their impact.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform teaching and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships with students, parents and the school community.
• Commitment to professional learning and reflective practice to continually improve teaching quality.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum within the school.
• Undertake other classroom teaching related duties as determined by the School Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties as required.
