Job summary

BUSHkids in Dalby is seeking a Psychologist to join our not-for-profit team, offering flexible part-time or full-time hours and a focus on early intervention for regional children.

You will work in a transdisciplinary team around the child, delivering evidence-based, client-centred psychology services, including assessments, treatment planning, and parent-focused programs, to support families and communities.

Qualifications

• 4-year psychology degree and general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Experience with children with developmental delay or disability and family-centred practice.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills for client care.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and knowledge sharing with others.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality psychology services for children’s development and wellbeing.
• Perform assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, intervention, referral and monitoring.
• Provide parent-focused interventions and group programs alongside individual work.
• Collaborate within a transdisciplinary team to support families and communities.
