Job summary

Guru Brothers Group is seeking practical, dependable Team Leaders for the dairy and fruit & vegetable departments at stores southeast of Perth. These hands-on roles require pride in freshness, presentation and customer service, and you lead by example to maintain high standards.

Responsibilities include ordering, stock forecasting, checking deliveries, rotating stock, maintaining displays, ensuring food safety, training staff and coordinating with store management to drive department performance.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in supermarket dairy, chilled foods or fresh produce retail.
• For the dairy role, team leadership experience or readiness to step into a leadership position.
• For the fruit and vegetable role, supervisory or department management experience and sound knowledge of produce quality, seasonality and handling.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and stock control skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support your department team, setting clear daily priorities
• Manage ordering, stock levels and replenishment to maintain product availability
• Check deliveries for quality, freshness and accuracy
• Maintain stock rotation, monitor product freshness and minimise waste
• Keep displays attractive, fully stocked and correctly priced
• Maintain appropriate storage conditions and follow food safety procedures
• Train and support team members
• Monitor department performance and coordinate with store management
• Maintain cleanliness and provide friendly, helpful customer service
