Job summary

Sharma’s Kitchen Pty. Limited in Hornsby, NSW 2077, is seeking a Full-Time Food Technologist to improve processes, develop new products, and ensure safety and quality across the dairy supply chain.

You will conduct product testing, monitor HACCP controls, perform milk testing, and work on shelf-life studies to preserve product quality. A Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years’ relevant experience are required, with dairy industry exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food science or related field.
• At least 2 years’ experience as a Food Technologist.
• Experience with product testing, sampling and QA/QC.
• Experience developing new products and improving processes.
• Experience in dairy industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product sampling and testing for quality and safety.
• Test flavours, nutritional content, and raw materials.
• Develop new products and run recipe trials.
• Conduct daily milk testing and related analyses.
• Maintain HACCP controls and quality systems.
• Investigate complaints and record-keeping per Food Authority.
