Job summary

Emmbr in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant to join the Applications team. You will stabilise and optimise D365 F&O after a finance transformation, including enhancements, integrations, and ongoing support in a high-volume environment.

You will collaborate with Finance, Technology and external partners to deliver project-based improvements and BAU activities, balancing hands-on configuration with stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with D365 F&O and a solid accounting/finance background.
• Experience supporting project-based financial processes and workflows.
• Hands-on configuration, troubleshooting and ongoing enhancements.
• Experience across project delivery and BAU environments.
• Understanding of complex system integrations and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on functional support, configuration and enhancements across D365 F&O.
• Collaborate with Finance to capture requirements and drive process improvements.
• Support complex integrations between D365 F&O and project management systems.
• Apply understanding of project purchase orders, procurement workflows and finance processes.
• Review functional designs and vendor deliverables to ensure business fit.
• Support testing, UAT and implementation of enhancements.
• Drive backlog prioritisation and ownership from issue to resolution.
• Assist with invoice processing and automation improvements in a high-volume environment.
• Contribute to upcoming integration projects as legacy systems are replaced.
