Job summary

Everi Pty is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Operations / SOC Engineer to strengthen security across identity, infrastructure, networks and cloud environments. The role emphasizes vulnerability management, SIEM engineering, threat detection, MDR services, and Zero Trust initiatives.

The ideal candidate will lead vulnerability management, implement IAM controls (MFA, SSO, PAM), and drive security best practices across on-prem and cloud setups.

Qualifications

• Experience in cyber security operations and SOC activities.
• Experience with vulnerability management and incident response.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, MFA, SSO and Zero Trust concepts.
• Experience with SIEM engineering and MDR services.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage SOC and MDR services to detect and respond to threats.
• Lead vulnerability management and network segmentation initiatives.
• Design and implement IAM security controls including MFA and SSO.
• Support Zero Trust and identity-centric security across cloud and on-prem.
• Develop secure network architectures and firewall policies.

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Operations / SOC Engineer to play a pivotal role in strengthening enterprise security capabilities across identity, infrastructure, networks, and cloud environments, with a strong focus on vulnerability management, SIEM engineering, threat detection, network segmentation, and Managed Detection and Response (MDR). This is an opportunity to lead high-impact security initiatives, enhance security monitoring and incident response capabilities, drive Zero Trust and IAM excellence, and strengthen the organisation's overall cyber resilience within a complex enterprise environment.

• Managed cybersecurity operations and SOC activities, including SIEM engineering, threat detection, and MDR services to identify, investigate, and respond to security threats and incidents
• Led vulnerability management and network segmentation initiatives to strengthen security controls, reduce risk, and improve the organisation's overall cybersecurity posture.
• Design, implement, and enhance identity and access management (IAM) security controls, including MFA, SSO, privileged access management, identity governance, role-based access controls, and privileged identity protection.
• Administer and support enterprise identity platforms, implementing secure access solutions and Zero Trust principles such as least privilege, continuous verification, and identity-centric security controls.
• Develop and execute cyber security hardening initiatives across cloud, infrastructure, endpoint, and network environments, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities, security misconfigurations, and excessive user privileges.
• Design, implement, and maintain network security controls, including segmentation, firewall policies, access controls, and secure architecture practices to protect critical systems and sensitive workloads.
• Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to remediate security risks, support vulnerability management and incident response activities, develop security standards and documentation, and ensure alignment with recognised security frameworks and industry best practices.
