Job summary

Talent Corp is partnering with a large government body undergoing a major technology transformation to establish its security operations capability as it migrates to a new Azure environment.

You will lead security operations, drive adoption of Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Purview and Azure security services, define escalation pathways, and coordinate across internal teams and managed service providers to secure production and support growth.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SOC in enterprise environments.
• Strong Azure experience and knowledge of Microsoft security technologies.
• Ability to coordinate incident response across technical teams, delivery partners and senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with VPDSF and Essential Eight frameworks is highly regarded.

Skills and experience

• Experience as a Security Operations Lead, SOC Manager, Cyber Defence Lead, Incident Response Lead or similar.
• A track record of building or maturing security operations capabilities in complex enterprise environments.
• Practical Azure experience and strong knowledge of Microsoft security technologies.
• Confidence leading incident response and working across technical teams, delivery partners and senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with VPDSF and Essential Eight frameworks is highly regarded.
