Job summary

Australian Digital Health Agency is seeking a senior cyber security leader to drive threat intelligence and threat hunting across national ICT environments. You will deliver strategic cyber security advice, enhance real-time monitoring, and support incident response while collaborating with government, industry and healthcare partners.

Ideal candidates bring experience in leading cyber operations, a strong grasp of PSPF/ISM frameworks, and a track record of developing policies and security

Qualifications

• Experience leading cyber threat intelligence/threat hunting functions.
• Strong understanding of Australian Government cyber security frameworks (PSPF/ISM).
• Ability to analyse threats, vulnerabilities, logs and data to produce actionable intelligence.
• Proven capability to develop and implement security policies and operational improvements.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to influence across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead cyber threat intelligence and threat hunting across complex ICT environments.
• Identify, analyse and respond to emerging threats, vulnerabilities and indicators of compromise.
• Drive proactive threat hunting using intelligence, telemetry, logs and security data sources.
• Support and enhance SOC capabilities, monitoring and incident response activities.
• Develop and implement cyber security strategies, policies and procedures.
• Provide risk assessments and recommendations to leadership.
• Build relationships with government agencies and healthcare partners for intelligence sharing.
• Deliver threat intelligence products, briefings and risk insights to internal/external audiences.
• Represent the Agency at cross-government forums and cyber security working groups.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing cyber security team.
