Job summary

The Office of Sport is seeking a Cyber Security Systems Engineer to administer, maintain and enhance cyber security platforms and controls within NSW Government security standards. Based at Sydney Olympic Park, the role supports security operations and resilience across the technology environment.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary IT/Cyber Security qualification and proven experience with security monitoring, IAM, vulnerability management and cloud security controls.

Qualifications

• Experience administering and supporting enterprise cyber security technologies.
• Experience with security monitoring, endpoint protection, IAM, and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain and improve cyber security technologies including endpoint protection and monitoring.
• Support cyber security operations by monitoring security events and assisting incident response.
• Drive security uplift through vulnerability remediation and patch management.
