Job summary

Downer Professional Services in Canberra is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to lead, plan, execute, manage and monitor ISM certification and accreditation artefacts through delivery within set timelines and budgets.

You will contribute to IT security architecture, incident response, and ensure smooth information flow within the project team while delivering System Accreditation Plans, SRMPs, SSPs, SODs and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or relevant industry experience in Engineering or Information Technology that is transferrable to the security domain.
• Certified SAFe Practitioner (mandatory for all COSPO personnel - can be completed upon engagement).
• Demonstrated knowledge in conducting security assurance activities against ISM or related information security policy frameworks.
• Experience in the preparation of security artefacts (SRMP, SOA, SSP, SOD, SOPs and IRP).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to IT security architecture analysis and design, Incident Response Plan (IRP); and System Overview Document (SOD).
• Ensuring consistent communication and flow of information across channels within the project team.

Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia's future.

Downer Professional Services comprises of three business units our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice, and Team Downer, which partners with CASG and NSSG as a major service provider to Defence. Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for clients across Defence and National Security.

We currently have an opportunity for an Cyber Security Specialist in Canberra to lead, plan, execute, manage and monitor the ISM certification and accreditation artefacts through to delivery according to predetermined timelines and budgets

What You'll Do

• Contribute to IT security architecture analysis and design, Incident Response Plan (IRP); and System Overview Document (SOD)

Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain a Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some instances, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
