Western Power in Perth seeks a Cyber Security Risk Analyst to join our permanent team. You will provide expert guidance to manage cyber security risks, working with diverse stakeholders to identify and mitigate key exposures across the organisation.

Your insights will shape a resilient digital environment and support governance at all levels. You will develop risk treatment strategies, translate threat information into actionable insights, and contribute to executive reporting and ongoing

Qualifications

• Proven experience in risk management with cyber security risk frameworks and best practices.
• Ability to apply cyber security risk principles to identify and mitigate organisational risks.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence across teams.
• Tertiary qualifications in risk management, cyber security, or information management.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance to proactively manage cyber security risks across the organisation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, assess and mitigate exposures.
• Develop risk treatment strategies and deliver strategic cyber-security advice.
• Translate threat information into actionable insights for governance bodies.
• Lead audit and assurance programs aligned with cyber-security objectives.
• Prepare executive reports and board submissions on risk insights.
• Facilitate risk workshops to improve understanding and proactive management.
• Brief assets/process owners on cyber-security risk and controls.
