Job summary

XPT Software Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a hands-on Security Platform Engineer in Sydney to deliver a new security product across the client environment. You will work with the architect and SME to drive technical implementation, coordinate agent deployments and manage firewall requirements, advancing the product to BAU.

The role emphasizes platform design, integrations with CMDB, ServiceNow and SIEM, and automation of onboarding, scans and asset tagging.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the runZero platform operating model including environments, access, roles, boundaries, sites and tagging.
• Coordinate agent deployments and firewall requirements across client environments.
• Integrate runZero with CMDB, ServiceNow, SIEM and other security tools via API-based patterns.
• Automate platform onboarding, configuration validation, scan scheduling and asset tagging.
• Establish standards for asset classification, lifecycle attributes and safe scanning controls.
