Job summary

XPT Software in Sydney is seeking a hands-on Security Platform Engineer to help deliver a new security product across client environments. You will work with architects and SME teams to drive implementation, coordinate agent deployments and manage firewall requirements.

Responsibilities include platform operating model design, integrations with CMDB, ServiceNow, Tenable, EDR, SIEM and cloud platforms, plus automation to onboard assets, validate configurations and orchestrate workflows.

• Platform operating model design and implementation
• Integrations with CMDB, ServiceNow, Tenable, EDR, NAC, DNS/DHCP, cloud platforms, identity systems, SIEM, SOAR
• Automation of asset onboarding, configuration validation, scan scheduling, tagging, reporting and housekeeping
• Workflow orchestration for asset exposure, access governance and incident response
• RBAC, privileged access controls, and auditable change history
• Documentation of standards, error handling and data quality checks
• Monitoring, dashboards and runbooks for platform reliability and security compliance
