Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Cyber Security Consultant to shape the security posture of major infrastructure programs in Australia. The role emphasizes advisory, assurance, and hands-on risk assessment across enterprise, cloud, hybrid, and OT environments.

You will engage with project teams and clients to embed secure design, navigate regulatory requirements, and deliver pragmatic security recommendations throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering cyber security consulting, advisory, or assurance services.
• Knowledge of cyber security frameworks, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience conducting cyber security risk assessments and developing practical risk treatment strategies.
• Ability to communicate security concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience in critical infrastructure, transport, utilities, government, defence, OT, or complex technology environments is valued.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and manage cyber security risks while delivering high-quality consulting services.
• Advise on cyber security strategy, governance, risk, and compliance initiatives.
• Conduct risk assessments, threat modelling, and security reviews across projects.
• Provide security architecture guidance across enterprise, cloud, hybrid, and OT environments.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to deliver secure outcomes and compliant solutions.
