Job summary

The Recruitment Hive Pty Ltd is seeking a Cyber Security Business Analyst for a large Federal Government organisation in Canberra. This role involves implementing business analysis approaches, assessing cyber operations, and ensuring alignment with policy frameworks such as protective security policy and essential 8 strategies.

The position requires NV1 Security Clearance and offers hybrid work across ACT, QLD, VIC, NSW and SA with an ASAP start for a 12+12+12 month contract.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering cyber security, ICT transformation or uplift activities within government agencies.
• Experience working within large-scale enterprise environments with cloud platforms, identity and access management, security operations, infrastructure, applications and data services.
• Ability to deliver outcomes within tight timeframes while managing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations.
• Ability to communicate complex cyber security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and contribute to capability uplift through mentoring and knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

• Implement business analysis approaches specifying team roles, deliverables, analysis techniques or stakeholder communication.
• Assess current state of cyber operations to identify and recommend improvements for senior staff and provide verification and validation on recommendations.
• Have practical understanding of cyber security operations and government cyber security policy including protective security policy framework, information security manual and essential 8 strategies.
