Job summary

Feros Care is seeking a Cyber Security and Infrastructure Specialist to drive security and infrastructure excellence across on-premises and cloud environments. You will partner with the Cloud Architect to oversee security, performance, and ongoing improvements while providing Level 3 support to the IT team.

The role requires 5+ years in infrastructure or related roles, hands-on experience with Azure, M365, Windows Server and Linux, and strong incident management skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent qualification.
• Bachelor of Information Technology (Computer Science) would be highly regarded.
• Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence.
• Undergo a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of secure infrastructure across on premises and cloud environments.
• Manage and enhance cyber security controls, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organisational systems and data.
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and infrastructure issues, providing timely resolution and remediation.
• Act as a Level 3 escalation point for complex infrastructure and cyber security issues, supporting our Service Desk and wider IT team.
• Design, deploy, and maintain network, server, cloud, telephony and voice solutions to support business operations.
• Contribute to disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure resilience initiatives to minimise service disruption.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, infrastructure diagrams and security related processes.
• Partner with vendors, stakeholders and internal teams to deliver technology improvements and projects that align with business objectives.

As our Cyber Security & Infrastructure Specialist, you'll be responsible for supporting and evolving the infrastructure and security platforms that underpin Feros Care's operations.

What you'll bring

• 5+ years' experience in infrastructure, systems administration or advanced technical support roles.
• Strong knowledge of cyber security principles, technologies and best practices.
• Experience managing enterprise infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud services and security platforms.
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and incident management capabilities.
• Experience with technologies such as VMware, Fortinet, Cisco, Ubiquiti, Veeam and VoIP solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A customer-focused approach with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
