Job summary

RASAK Group in Sydney, NSW, is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to strengthen the security and resilience of ICT systems. This full-time role focuses on monitoring, analysing and responding to cyber threats across the organisation's digital environment.

The successful candidate will work with management and IT providers to maintain security controls, develop policies, and ensure secure operations across networks, applications and information.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification in IT, cyber security, computer science, information systems or a related discipline.
• Experience in cyber security, ICT security or a closely related technical environment.
• Knowledge of SIEM, security monitoring, firewalls, access controls and security architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good written communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ICT systems and networks for security threats, vulnerabilities and suspicious activity.
• Investigate security incidents and conduct triage, analysis, containment and escalation.
• Configure and maintain security monitoring and threat-detection solutions; review configurations.
• Assist with incident response, root-cause analysis and post-incident reporting; support audits.
• Maintain security documentation and collaborate with stakeholders and providers.
