Job summary

Lyra Technology Group’s Adelaide-based portfolio company Concept Data is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Specialist to join the team. You will act as the cyber security subject matter expert across SME and mid-market client engagements, translating technical risks into business outcomes.

You’ll work with Account Managers and delivery teams to develop security roadmaps, manage compliance programs, and drive improvements across a diverse client base while promoting practical risk reduction

Qualifications

• Experience in cyber security, risk, compliance or advisory-focused roles.
• Strong understanding of cyber security frameworks, governance and risk management.
• Experience conducting assessments, identifying risks and developing improvement plans.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted cyber security advisor to clients, providing practical risk and compliance guidance.
• Conduct security assessments, gap analyses and develop improvement roadmaps.
• Support compliance initiatives including Essential Eight, SMB1001 and ISO 27001.
• Manage risk registers, remediation plans and compliance documentation.
• Present security findings and recommendations to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Coordinate cyber security and compliance projects from planning through to delivery.
• Partner with Account Managers and technical teams to drive positive client outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen security posture and reduce risk.
• Contribute to the development of security services, frameworks and best practices.
