Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Cyber Controls Analyst to strengthen its cyber security governance, risk management and controls assurance across the organisation. You will conduct risk assessments, monitor control effectiveness and support remediation initiatives to improve cyber resilience.

The role collaborates with Cyber Security, IT Architecture and business teams to ensure secure and compliant operations in a dynamic services environment. The position is a 6-month fixed-term opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, cyber security, risk management or related field.
• CRISC, CISM or ISO 27001 desirable.
• 3+ years in cyber security, governance, risk or compliance roles.
• Experience assessing and validating cyber security controls.
• Knowledge of SCF, NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53 and CIS Controls.
• Strong analytical, communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Support cyber security governance, risk management and controls assurance activities.
• Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses; monitor control performance.
• Remediate control deficiencies and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Prepare reports documenting assurance activities and findings.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security, IT Architecture and business stakeholders.
