Job summary

Insignia Financial is seeking a Resilience Analyst to strengthen our cyber security team in Australia. You will focus on detecting, responding to, and recovering from cyber incidents, triaging alerts daily and investigating potential threats.

You will collaborate with SOC providers, conduct forensics, and share guidance with internal teams to raise our security posture. A strong passion for cyber security operations and ongoing learning is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in cyber security operations, incident response, and threat hunting.
• Expertise with security technologies (SIEM, XDR, EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
• Ability to translate threat intelligence into improved detection and response.

Responsibilities

• Analyse security events from SIEM, investigate suspicious activities and assess threats.
• Collaborate with external SOCs to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.
• Conduct threat hunting and participate in purple teaming exercises.
• Provide internal teams with best practice guidance based on findings.
• Investigate incidents, perform digital forensics, and respond to suspicious emails.
