Scyne Advisory Pty is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate to join our Security Operations team. You will contribute to Threat Intelligence, Security Monitoring and Digital Forensics & Incident Response for public sector clients.

The role requires 2+ years in incident response or security operations, hands-on skills with networks, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data analysis. You’ll work autonomously, coach junior staff, and help develop new security capabilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven industry experience in incident response, digital forensics or security operations.
• Hands-on technical skills in networks, hyperscale clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP), and data management tools.
• Understanding of digital forensics and data analysis, with relevant tooling experience.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and NIST SP 800-61 frameworks.
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver under time pressure.
• Certifications in security operations (e.g., GCIH, GCFA, Security+ etc.) are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a consultants' team on engagements in Threat Intelligence, Security Monitoring, and Digital Forensics & Incident Response.
• Deliver high-quality outcomes through hands-on delivery and coaching to junior team members.
• Take ownership of client engagements and coordinate with the broader team to ensure success.
• Support development of new capabilities, products and services based on market demand.
