Job summary

The Canberra-based Cyber GRC Specialist will join the Security team to implement, monitor and improve governance, risk and compliance aligned to Australian Government frameworks such as ISM and PSPF.

This on-site role requires Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain PV clearance or NV2. You will develop security documentation, perform risk assessments and collaborate with stakeholders across a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' experience as a Cyber Security Analyst or GRC Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of PSPF, ISM, ASD Essential Eight and NIST frameworks.
• Experience conducting cyber security risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders of varying technical and seniority levels.
• Experience working in enterprise security environments and regulated industries.
• Australian Citizenship with the ability to hold PV security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain security documentation such as System Security Plans and Risk Management Plans.
• Support Government Accreditation to Operate (ATO) processes.
• Implement security standards including ISM, ASD Essential Eight and NIST.
• Provide cyber security advice to support infrastructure monitoring and design improvements.
• Conduct cyber security risk assessments and mitigation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve cyber security posture and risk management outcomes.
